Founder President's Scholarship
The fund for this scholarship has been already deposited Rs 200,000 at Amana Bank Term fixed deposit account by the founder president Mr.M.M Fazlul Haque. We intend to recieve a monthly income of around Rs. 1500 from this investment. This scholarship will be offered to a deserving but a poor university student among our family members of Al-Hambra scholarship hostel untill the student complete the course after annual review, specialy in the field of Engineering, Medicine, Journalism and other. As a special gesture, first year we will pay Rs 2000 per month at the launch.
Al-Hambra Scholars Hostel Old Boys Scholarship
For this scholarship we intend to collect around another Rs 500,000 among our members. Each member contributing Rs.3000 and deposit the same as above and offer two more. Scholarship to two deserving university students one from Al-Hambra and other from Zahira, Dharga town. Around Rs.2000 per month untill the student complete the course. After annual review this will be inaugerated at the AGM 2015.
Al-Hambra well wishes Scholarship
This we intend to collect fund from then Al-Hambra maha vidyalaya old boys who wish to contribute and offer one more scholarship as above. This scholarship will be inaugurated when the necessary fund is collected.
Our Strategy
The beauty of this scholarship schemes are, that only the profit of the investments be used for the scholarships. The capital will be intact in the bank so that all these scholarships will continue uninterrupted for generations to come. All these scholarships will be handled by our education committe which consists of university professors, education department directors, ex-school principals and professionals among us. This committee will monitor the progress of these scholars and review annually.
